05 April 2012, 3-8pm, UNAIDS, Geneva

On Thursday the 5th of April 2012, TEDxGenevaChange will take place from 3-8pm at UNAIDS, Geneva, hosted around the live webcast of TEDxChange and featuring local speakers.

TEDxChange 2012 is a TEDx event co-organized by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and TED. Convened by Melinda French Gates and hosted by Chris Anderson, TEDxChange will focus on issues surrounding global health and development.

Our event is called TEDxGenevaChange and is one of many TEDx events happening around the globe on April 5th 2012 that will expand on the ideas brought up at the first TEDxChange event in September 2010.

This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDxGenevaChange, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGenevaChange event, a live webcast of TEDxChange 2012 and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
